Is there a minimum spend?

Our 25 and 50 Pizza Experiences are our standard packages, but every event is different. If you're planning something smaller or have something specific in mind, get in touch. Where possible, we're happy to tailor the experience around your guest numbers and event.

Can the experience be tailored to my event?

Absolutely. Our packages are a starting point, but no two gatherings are exactly the same. Tell us your guest numbers, venue and what you have in mind, and we'll help put together an experience that works for your event.

Where do your pizzas come from?

Our pizzas come from Posticino in Sea Point, a Cape Town favourite that has been serving much-loved Italian food and pizzas for over 28 years. We bring that same Posticino pizza experience to you, freshly prepared and cooked on-site in our wood-fired Italina ovens.

Where is Italina At Yours available?

We're currently based in and available for events across Cape Town. If you're unsure whether your venue falls within our service area, send us the location when you enquire and we'll let you know. For now, Italina At Yours is not available nationwide across South Africa.

Is there a call-out or travel fee?

Accepted Answer

Our standard service is based in Cape Town. Depending on where your event is located within the greater Cape Town area, an additional travel or call-out fee may apply. Send us your event location when enquiring and we'll confirm any additional costs upfront.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Accepted Answer

The earlier the better, particularly for weekends and larger events, but last-minute plans happen too. If your date is coming up soon, still get in touch. If we have availability, we'll always do our best to make it happen.

Question 7

How much notice do you need for personalised pizza boxes?

Accepted Answer

Personalised pizza boxes need to be designed and produced specifically for your event, so they require more notice than a standard Italina At Yours booking. We recommend enquiring about personalised boxes as early as possible. Send us your event date and we'll confirm whether we can have them ready in time.

What do you bring with you?

Pretty much everything we need to serve the pizzas. We arrive with our wood-fired Italina oven, firewood, pizza-making equipment, ingredients and our crew. We set up, cook and serve, and pack everything down afterwards — so you can concentrate on your guests.

Are the pizzas cooked fresh at my event?

Yes! That's a big part of Italina At Yours. We set up our wood-fired oven at your venue and cook the pizzas fresh on-site throughout your event, serving them hot as they come out of the oven.

Can we choose our pizza flavours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We'll work with you on the menu ahead of your event and help you choose a selection that works well for your guests. If you have dietary requirements or particular preferences, let us know when you enquire and we can discuss the available options.

How many pizzas do I need for my number of guests?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the type of event, your guest numbers and how the pizzas will be served. Tell us a little about your event when you enquire and we'll recommend an amount that makes sense rather than leaving you to guess.

What kinds of events do you cater for?

Birthdays, dinner parties, weddings, engagement parties, corporate events, launches, celebrations and plenty in between. Whether you're planning something intimate at home or a larger celebration, get in touch and we'll help you work out the best setup.

What do I need to provide at the venue?

Not much — that's the point. Once we know where your event is being held, we'll confirm any access or setup requirements beforehand. If there's anything specific we need from you or the venue, we'll let you know well before the day.

What happens if the weather turns?

If you're planning an outdoor event, we recommend having a covered or sheltered backup area available where possible. Every venue and setup is different, so if the forecast isn't looking ideal, we'll work through the options with you ahead of your event.
